An old friend of mine from Canada telephoned from the airport to tell me that he had arrived. I was still at the office at that time. I told him where my house was and I had left the key under the door. I asked him to make himself at home.
Two hours later, I telephoned him. He told me he couldn't find the key under the door, but he had no difficulty in finding my house, because the window of my living room was just by the apple tree, and he had climbed in.
I was surprised. There is no apple tree in front of my living room, but there is one in front of my neighbor's.
